Eternal Return – Grace Phyllis Silver-Smith – August & September 25

Grace is an oil painter working between West Cumbria & Margate. Her practice is grounded in her lived experience as an intersex, transgender woman of working-class, ethnic heritage. Through painting, she processes her past marked by trauma, survival, sex work, international performance & deep healing, transforming it into bold, physical works of catharsis.

The exhibition will include collaborative work created with members of the Queer Cumbria Trans and Gender Exploring group and a free workshop will take place on Monday 11th August for anyone who wants to take part in creating collaborative fragments of art with Grace.
